If you’re tired of regular meatloaf, this meatloaf recipe with bacon is what you need to get your family to have a new found appreciation for it.

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 pound ground sausage (nitrate-free) or ground beef
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 medium zucchini shredded
- 1 large egg
- ½ small onion diced
- 3 slices paleo bacon cooked and chopped
- 1 tbsp garlic minced
Preheat oven to 375°.
In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients until combined.
Place in a meatloaf or bread pan. You want to make sure that the mixture is pressed firmly together. If not, it will fall apart on you when you go to serve.
Top with Homemade Paleo Ketchup and place in oven.
Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour. You’ll want the internal temperature to be around 180°.
A single meat like ground beef can be used, but we find mixing up different meats gives a better flavor. Experiment and decide which meat you prefer.
